Celebrate the meaningful coincidence of Tu bi-Shvat – the Jewish New Year for Trees – and Shabbat Shirah – the Shabbat of Song – through a contemplative and harmonious gathering.
In keeping with Izhbitz hasidic custom, our seudah shelishit – third meal of Shabbat – will focus more on the spirit than the body, so we’ll mindfully taste only a few morsels of fruit and keep speech to a minimum.
We’ll sing our way through the four kabbalistic worlds as the sun sets and the room darkens, and then conclude with havdalah.
